Description: One of the most region-appropriate plants of cannabis history, the California orange smells and tastes exactly like its namesake fruit. This plant has been popular in California growing circles since at least the 1980's and reportedly comes out of the Skunk lineage. Unlike other Skunks of its ilk though, the California Orange is famous for smelling and tasting exactly like its namesake fruit. Somehow blending the sharp oily kick of citrus rind with a smoother sweetness (reminiscent of the flesh), Cali O is one of those truly uncanny strains that truly has to be tasted to be believed. Effect-wise, it is balanced and smooth with a blend of head and body effects. As with many Skunk hybrids, it is a versatile, all-day type of choice and can blend into and enhance most situations.
